TRIFIT TASK FORM

Please complete the following information today while you are going through the TriFIT 600-fitness assessment.

Pick three activities you love to participate in. List them below:

Figure out how many calories you will burn while participating in these actives by following the formula below.

Your body weight in lbs. times the coefficient given to you for your activity.

This gives you the number of calories burned for that activity per minute per pound.

Take this number times how many minutes you wish to do the activity:

It will give you the total number of calories you will burn.

Example: The coefficient of Badminton is 0.038. Take that number times your body weight lets say 152

0.038 X 152 = 5.78

There are 5.78 calories burned for Badminton per minute at the body weight of 152.

Now lets say we play Badminton for 30 minutes.

30 X 5.78 =173

Calories burned during 30 minutes of playing Badminton

Therefore, a person weighing 152 pounds would burn 173 calories in 30 minutes of playing Badminton.

 

Now try it for your activities. Look up the coefficient on the chart provided. Use the calculator provided to figure out the total number of calories burned at your body weight for 30 minutes.
