Lesson Title: Senior Project for Physical Education

GOALS and OBJECTIVES:
Students will demonstrate knowledge of fitness concepts.
Students will develop an individual fitness program.
Students will be able to analyze chosen activities, as to what fitness concepts are being used.
ACTIVITIES and PROCEDURES:
Draw the design with appropriate labels.
Determine the cost to develop this project.
Determine a workout program to be used for a one week session.
Determine what changes will be made as you get older. Example: Age 20, 40,
60, 80
RATIONALE: (NASPE Standards)
Standard - Exhibits a physically active lifestyle
Age Group - 12th GradeHave the skills, knowledge, interest, and desire to independently maintain an active lifestyle throughout their life.
Understand how activity participation patterns are likely to change throughout life and have some strategies to deal with those changes.
REFLECTION: This project is designed to also meet state goals for Illinois. The seniors involved in this program will have had 3 years of Physical Education prior to their senior year. Each year of Physical Education will be the building blocks for the senior project. The project will be completed through out the school year.
