Lesson Title: Bicep Curl Test

Grade Level Appropriateness: High School (9)

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES: To show that a unit in weight-training can improve muscular strength, including the biceps.

ACTIVITIES/PROCEDURES:

  1. Day 1 - Students will be pre-tested on the Bicep Curl Test using the TriFIT system program.
  2. 3 ½ weeks - Weight-training exercises that will use every major muscle group.
  3. Last Day - Students will be post-tested on the Bicep Curl Test using the TriFIT system.

RATIONALE: Achieves and maintains a health-enhancing level of fitness.
